The current climate emphasises the importance of critical thinking and active citizenship, as the UK grapples with the complex challenge of safeguarding its democratic institutions against the subtle encroachment of authoritarian ideas, regardless of their source within the political landscape. The hope is that this increased awareness will ultimately prevent the consolidation of any form of right-wing dictatorship and effectively bring an end to any nascent Nazist tendencies within society.
